A fond farewell… but thankfully not goodbye! - 30 Jul 2026

Today, we said a fond farewell to Jenny, our amazing receptionist, who is leaving after more than two years of working and volunteering at Age Concern Sandwich.

Jenny has made a wonderful contribution during her time with us, and we are extremely grateful for all her hard work, kindness and dedication. She will be greatly missed by staff, volunteers and everyone who knows her at the centre.

We were pleased to present Jenny with flowers and a gift to thank her for everything she has done. The good news is that this is not really goodbye, as Jenny will still be returning to support us as a volunteer.

We wish her every happiness for the future and look forward to seeing her back at Age Concern Sandwich very soon.
