Age Concern Sandwich Recognised Once Again by Sandwich in Bloom - 09 Jul 2026

We are delighted to share that Age Concern Sandwich has once again received lovely recognition from Sandwich in Bloom for our floral display.

Our courtyard garden is a very special part of the centre. Throughout the warmer months, it provides a peaceful and welcoming space for visitors to enjoy a coffee, lunch, a chat with friends, or simply a quiet moment surrounded by colour and fresh air. It brings so much joy to everyone who uses the centre, and we are very proud to see it recognised again this year.

A heartfelt thank you must go to our wonderful staff member Jackie Beale, who gives her time, care and green-fingered talent to keep the courtyard looking so beautiful. From planting and watering to tidying and nurturing, her hard work makes such a difference and helps create a space that feels bright, cheerful and full of life.

We are also very grateful to Sandwich in Bloom for this recognition and for all they do to encourage pride in our lovely town. It is wonderful to be part of a community where so many people care about making Sandwich a more beautiful place for residents, visitors and local organisations alike.

Our courtyard garden is open for everyone to enjoy when visiting Age Concern Sandwich, so please do pop in and see it for yourself. Whether you join us for a cup of tea, stay for lunch, enjoy a snack, or simply take a moment to admire the flowers, you will be very welcome.
