Celebrations for St Georges Day - 24 Apr 2026

Yesterday was a truly lovely celebration of St George’s Day here at Age Concern Sandwich, with a warm and cheerful atmosphere throughout the building.

We enjoyed a special themed lunch, and it was wonderful to see everyone sharing good food, conversation, and plenty of laughter. The dining area was filled with a real sense of togetherness, with tables full and friends old and new coming together to mark the occasion.

Our team did a fantastic job preparing and serving a delicious meal, and it was clear how much it was appreciated by everyone who attended. 

St George’s Day always gives us a great excuse to celebrate community and connection, and today was a perfect example of that in action. It was a pleasure to host such a happy event, and we’re very grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.
