Craft Fair Success – Rain Couldn’t Stop the Fun! - 15 Sep 2025

On Saturday we held our much-anticipated Craft Fair at Age Concern Sandwich – and what a day it turned out to be! Despite the torrential rain that poured down for most of the morning, the wet weather didn’t dampen the spirits of our visitors or stallholders.

We were delighted to see so many people brave the elements to come along, browse the fantastic range of handmade crafts, plants, gifts, jewellery, and treats on offer, and enjoy a warm cuppa while supporting our charity. The centre was filled with colour, creativity, and community spirit – proving that even the dreariest of days can be brightened by coming together.

We’d like to thank everyone who came along, our amazing stallholders who set up with a smile despite the soggy start, and our volunteers who helped the day run so smoothly. Your support makes a real difference to the work we do at Age Concern Sandwich.

It was a wonderful reminder that rain may fall, but community spirit always shines through.
