Easter Fun at the Memory Café - 01 Apr 2026

Yesterday’s Memory Café at St Richard’s Church in Deal was a truly lovely occasion, filled with laughter, friendship, and plenty of creativity.

We were delighted to welcome such a wonderful group who came together to enjoy each other’s company in the warm and welcoming surroundings of the church hall. The room was buzzing with chatter, smiles, and happy conversation as everyone settled in for an afternoon of Easter fun.

The highlight of the session was making Easter bonnets — and what fantastic creations they turned out to be!  With lots of imagination, everyone got involved, helping one another and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. It was wonderful to see so much creativity on display, and even more wonderful to see the joy it brought to everyone taking part.

The finished bonnets looked absolutely fabulous — as you can see from the photos!  Each one was unique, colourful, and made with care, and we think everyone looked just as fabulous wearing them.

Most importantly, the afternoon was full of friendship, fun, and shared moments — exactly what the Memory Café is all about. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a cheerful and memorable session.
