Local Groups Supporting Local Causes - 28 May 2026

At Age Concern Sandwich, we are always incredibly grateful for the support we receive from our local community, and we would like to say a huge thank you to the Saxons Orienteering Club and the Sandwich Artisan Crafters for their recent kindness and generosity.

The talented members of the Sandwich Artisan Crafters have been busy knitting a collection of cosy hats for members of the orienteering club to wear during their outdoor adventures and events. The Saxons Orienteering Club then very kindly purchased the hats, with all proceeds being donated to Age Concern Sandwich.

It is wonderful to see local groups coming together to support one another in such a positive and creative way. Community spirit is at the heart of everything we do, and partnerships like this help us continue providing valuable services and support to older people within our community.

We would also like to thank the Sandwich Artisan Crafters for donating their time, skill, and creativity to make this project possible. The hats looked fantastic, and we are sure they will be well worn on many future adventures.

Every act of support, big or small, helps us continue our work, and we are truly grateful to everyone involved.
