Remembering together at Age Concern Sandwich - 05 Nov 2026

Ahead of Remembrance Sunday this weekend, we wanted to share the wonderful Remembrance displays that have been created across Age Concern Sandwich.

Our horse at the Well-being Centre looks absolutely magnificent. A huge thank you to Jacqui White’s wonderful husband for helping to repair it and get it ready for display, to Zoe Culver for kindly loaning us the saddle, and of course to our brilliant Sunflower Centre staff and clients, who have been busy making the fabulous poppies that complete the display so beautifully.

Over at our Market Street Charity Shop, Deborah and the team have also created a fabulous window display to mark the occasion.

Please do come along and have a look — so much care, creativity and thought has gone into both displays.

And don’t forget our Remembrance Day Lunch on Wednesday 11th November at the Well-being Centre.

Roast Beef with all the trimmings
Bread & Butter Pudding
Just £9 for two courses

We will also observe a minute’s silence together as we remember and pay our respects.

Places are limited, so please book your place with us.

Lest we forget.
